Most new and emerging artists are always looking for ways in which to get their art out there and for simple ways in which to promote their art.

The following are 30 websites that are presently accepting art submissions. Just make sure that the submitted art is deemed appropriate to that particular publication. Watch out… be careful!
Always find out what their policy is prior to submitting any art. If this information is not on their website, email them and find out what their actual policy is. If you are not happy with their Use Rights and Copyright Policies then do not submit any art to them.
Try to submit your art over the next 30 days to these 30 websites and get your art out there and exposed to thousands of viewers. Also, if your art is eventually accepted by any of these sites, you will soon have 30 events in which to publicize this accomplishment to your social media networks.

Understanding these items can help you determine if a museum show is a good option for you. You will immerse yourself in researching the history and missions of museums, building connections in the community, and creating impassioned works.
Everything you learn and do will help you master the process, and with each one you do, the process becomes easier. There are many rewards, however. The recognition of you and your work typically increases after the event. Accordingly, the price and demand for your pieces should rise—especially if you proactively market the event online, on social media, and in the community. Be aware of creative, commercial, and time concerns. Your creations will compete against countless works, unsolicited like yours and those from gallery representatives and dealers.
This can stifle your creativity, and may even turn off your followers. You must be honest with yourself about your career and achievements —and your CV and bio should reflect it. Research multiple museums and be realistic about which museums are right for your work. Again, your submission must reflect your creative passion and strength. This group controls shows and exhibits. Naturally, you want your work to connect with an audience who appreciates and understands it. Your final concern is location. Ideally, choose a museum within driving distance from your residence. Ideally, you should have three proposals for projects of different sizes and themes. Be prepared when you initiate contact. Have brief talking points, in writing and conversation, ready and rehearsed. Key topics include your art background, your area of specialty, and a high-level view of your proposals. If you secure an in-person meeting with the curator, keep it simple and respect their time and knowledge.Selection for final consideration is based on the needs of the Museum Store uniqueness of the product, and relation to our museum collection and educational programs.
If you wish to submit work for consideration, you must follow the guidelines listed below. Submissions that do not follow the guidelines will not be considered. Also, please be aware that because of the large volume of unsolicited submissions we receive, we cannot, and will not, personally respond or offer you a review of your materials. We accept original works in ceramic, glass, wood, mixed media, jewelry, metal, and textiles. Acceptable two-dimensional works of art include photography, limited editions, fine prints, and lithographs.
Unfortunately, we cannot offer any original art for sale. Include this descriptive info within the body of the email, not as a separate attachment. Do not submit work that is not available, and please be accurate with regards to retail pricing, as these are a consideration in our jury process.
Once accepted, adjustments are not possible, and changes are subject to disqualification. Once disqualified, you may be barred from future participation.
